The NextGENOA team consists of three core team members, who carry out the critical functions of admin, finance, communications and networking. They work with a wider circle of youth from different countries in the region, namely Bhutan, China, Cambodia, Myanmar and Sri Lanka, grow and build the network.

Thao Kin
I am from Vietnam and have been involved with NextGEN since my study in the EDE in 2016 at Gaia Ashram. I am passionate about ecological and environmental education. After almost 10 years of working in non-formal environmental education, I started to dig deeper and found my calling in Deep Ecology. I am learning about community building and ecovillage design as well. I believe true transformation lies in the change of heart and the power of community.

Donggun Lee
I became an active member of NextGENOA since 2016 and for NextGEN Korea since 2017. I am primarily based in Korea, but love working internationally as I feel my mission is to serve as a bridge between dualities, East & West in particular, which I realised whilst working with NextGENOA for the last 3 years. Together with other Korean youth, we have formed a small community with a group of NextGEN friends to experiment the kind of community we wish to live in. My main interest lies in education, especially EDE (Ecovillage Design Education), but also in introducing the amazing world of ecovillages, their values and projects to the wanderers!

Seyoung Park
I have been an active member of NextGENOA and NextGEN Korea at the same time after having an EDE course and trained at Siddharth Eco Village in India. My major was Peace Building and I do care about especially the sense of deep connection with nature and healing the heart and body by the creation of better environment where we live. I believe that sharing is caring, so one of my highest calling is sharing dreams that you want to dream of to build a peace. Let’s connected !

Being(许斌)
Member of NextGENOA and NextGEN China (Since 2016 & 2017), Initiator of Co-learning with All Beings Programme (Based in Jiangxi Province, China).
I have been learning “Ecovillage Design Education, Deep Ecology and Facilitation” from the facilitators and bio-pioneers of Global Ecovillage Network; and my study of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism classics is inspired by the great teachers past and now. I believe that we are in an age of holistic transformation (inner, social, ecologic, and economic), and that the key is Self-cultivation, which is what I have been learning and doing focuses on.
